Glass, picture frame

Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien, Berlin

For the group exhibition TOMORROW IT’S TIME FOR THE FUTURE, I developed a walk-in room installation. The room was located in the middle of the series of Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien exhibition spaces. I mounted panes of black reverse-painted glass on two walls, so that two squares, each with an edge of three meters, were formed. A picture frame featuring a text that I had written was in the adjacent corner. The text described, from the perspective of the viewer, the route to Kunstraum Kreuzberg and then through the exhibition to my work. Looking from the picture frame back to the glass-plated corner created a double reflection of the viewer.
